“New Goals. New Power. New Technology. #2030Now”
Sep 16, 2015
The Global Social Good Summit is a two-day conference examining the impact of technology and new media on social good initiatives around the world. The Summit unites a dynamic community of global leaders and grassroots activists to discuss solutions for the greatest challenges of our time. Our theme, "New Goals. New Power. New Technology #2030NOW", asks the question, “What type of world do I want to live in by the year 2030?” During the Social Good Summit, global citizens around the world unite to unlock the potential of technology to make the world a better place.
Along with the main event in New York City, people convene around the world to take part in the global discussion about how communities are using the digital tools of today to build a brighter future. Global meet-up locations already exist in over 65 countries around the world, including in Beijing, China.
In China, the Social Good Summit 2015 launched the Global Goals Alliance with different private sector partners who committed to promoting the 17 Sustainable Development Goals internally through its employees and clients but also externally through social media and online platforms.
