Bilateral and Multilateral Donors

UNDP programmes and projects include close partnerships with governments, bilateral and multilateral development organizations. These partners often commit financial and technical resources for the implementation of UNDP programmes. Such platforms have enabled the country office to coordinate and harness knowledge, expertise, skills and resources of various governments, bilateral and multilateral organizations to provide the best development solutions for society as a whole.

UNDP China has strong relations with the international donor community, with which it shares ideas and experiences. We also gratefully utilise their financial support for some of our projects. For example, UNDP’s South-South cooperation work with China has benefited greatly from a ‘Global Issues Facility’ sponsored by AusAID. Additionally, South-South projects are also funded by DFID; Denmark; and others.
