The meeting, organized in partnership with the Beijing Gender and Health Education Institute and the Media and Communications Department of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), brought together journalists and media professionals from print media, TV and new media, with academics and civil society representatives to discuss the role of the media in creating a more open and embracing society towards sexual and gender minorities.

This year’s theme was ‘Changes & Sustainability’.
