This Discussion Paper is based on discussions at an international experience-sharing workshop co-hosted in Beijing by the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation (CAITEC) and UNDP China. The Discussion Paper presents some of the challenges, good practices and lessons learned in middle-income countries’ South–South development cooperation that may be of practical use for others in their own policy formulation. It also provides some suggestions for future action.
