The Highlights of United Nations Development Programme: Support to China During 2013 summarizes some of the key development achievements to which UNDP contributed in 2013. The report is divided into two parts: support to China’s domestic development and support to South-South and global / regional cooperation. Results were achieved in the development of legislation and policies, in improving the livelihoods of ethnic minorities and farmers, in enhancing access to legal aid for vulnerable groups, in reducing pollutants, and in enhancing energy efficiency. The report also highlights some of UNDP China’s most important publications throughout the year, all contributing to awareness-raising and policy discussions on pressing development issues.
